Prose for thought : falling

I’ve blogged this poem of mine before, but I quite like it so I’m linking it up for Prose for thought.

Falling
Too fast
Not knowing where
You will end up

Sometimes finding a ledge
To rest on
But not for long
Getting blown off the edge again

Falling
You try to pull the stop cord
But there isn’t one
No parachute

You fall
And fall
And trust that the wind
may pick you back up

  1. This reminds me of when you have a dream when you’re falling and you can’t stop yourself. I don’t like those dreams but I like your poem and how there’s no punctuation, so that you continually read as if you’re falling, in fact! #prose4t
